Privacy: What is it and what does it mean to YOU?
Register for the Identity Theft Resource Center's interactive workshop to learn how to protect your identity on your mobile device! This privacy workshop provides step-by-step instructions on how to change settings for mobile devices, apps, and social media accounts.
Open to Girl Scouts in Grades 8-12 and their parents. Girl Scouts will earn an exclusive Mobile Privacy Patch.
Girl Scouts in Grades 9-12 who complete the workshop will be eligible to enter the 2017 Privacy Essay Scholarship Competition sponsored by CyberScout & ITRC. Submission entry period open September 1 - September 22, 2017.
Girl Scouts will come away from this event with a valuable understanding of their online identity.
NOTE: This is not a drop-off event. Girl Scouts are required to bring a guardian, troop leader or friend to help educate our community. Please register each Girl Scout and guest attending the event.
